Digital Portrait drawing in Photoshop

The product of some brainstorming sessions for a company called “JEWSKN” with a backwards N character.
Needed to be Russian and Jewish inspired.

I have started a new art blog strictly for art/concept/art kind of stuff.
I hope to update it daily (that’s my goal a least) it seems to have successfully motivated me to make stuff like Rocky below.

This one was originally gonna be a posterized style cutout if you look at the collar of his jacket, but i got curious and spent about 2 hours blending things in.

Had to get creative with the cross frame as people were always in the shot. It works with the subject matter and lets the imagination fill in the gaps making it seem even bigger.
Besides a bit of colour and cloning, i added a strong volume of light coming from the stained glass for fun.
